Kiernan Hughes-Mason has become Blue Square Bet South club Welling United`s second signing in two days.

Welling Make Second Signing of the Week

Kiernan Hughes-Mason

The 20-year-old, who began his career with Millwall, where he made two first-team appearances, joined Grimsby Town from then Conference Premier rivals Kettering Town in January 2012.

He had a brief trial with the Mariners the previous summer and impressed during a pre-season friendly at Brigg Town.

However, he was released by Grimsby at the end of the season after scoring two goals in eleven games.

Now he has a chance of a good run of games playing alongside Luis Cumbers and fellow new signing Jon Main.
