New Management Team At Bashley Announced

Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) club Bashley have announced the appointment of a new management team tasked to continue the successful youth-based development structure put in place by parting manager Tom Prodomo.

The new management team were an important part this revival and in the opinion of the Executive Committee, are the best people to build on this policy based on training, fitness and individual development.

Paul Morris has been appointed as first-team manager with Leon Scott as head coach, Stephen Sharkey as goalkeeper coach and Paul Diggins as therapist, fitness coach and nutritional advisor.

Morris and Scott will also be working with Prodomo and Liam Daish in the care and management of Bashley under-19s – an alliance between the club and Brockenhurst Football Academy).

Morris has been Bashley’s first-team assistant-manager for a number of years and has a great knowledge of local football and has been an invaluable support to a number of managers.

Scott is a coach and lecturer in sport at the Brockenhurst Academy, while Sharkey has been goalkeeper coach at both Wimborne Town and Winchester City during his long career.

Diggins is a highly-qualified club physio/lead soft tissue therapist and football coach.
