West Midlands (Regional) League Division One club Darlaston (1874) FC are looking to recruit an experienced first-team manager for the 2017/18 season.

Following the resignation of player-manager Mark Swann in February, goalkeeping coach Scott Bamford was appointed caretaker-manager until the end of the 2016/17 season.

Chairman Neil Chambers said: “Following the resignation of player-manager Mark Swann in February, goalkeeping coach Scott Bamford was appointed caretaker until the end of the season. Both Swanny and Scott were with us from day one and were brilliant for us. Scott took the helm for the last nine games of the season and galvanised the players ensuring we completed the season, eventually finishing seventh.”

Anyone interested in applying for the manager’s position should send their application and football CV by email to chambers568@btinternet.com by midday Monday, 15th May. Interviews will take place later that week.

For more information or enquiries email chambers568@btinternet.com or telephone 07976752698.
