Whitehouse Makes Reading Switch

....Eliott Whitehouse from Hartley Wintney to his squad for Tuesdays Berks & Bucks Cup fixture at Abingdon Town.

Whitehouse, who is 21 and has also previously been at Burnham, Hungerford Town and Henley Town, is a holding midfielder who is confident on the ball and is a leader on and off the field. He can also play centre back.

Butcher said: "Eliott is one of the players I initially looked to bring in when I took the reins here but he was already committed to Hartley Wintney. Things haven't quite worked out over there and as with any good players who we feel can add to our squad, the door was always open."
