Winterbourne Head Into the Unknown

.....the Toolstation Western League Division One campaign at Oaklands Park.

David Wilson's side will be playing at the highest level in their history after winning promotion from the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One West and have been boosted by the arrival of two new players. They have won the race to sign experienced former Brislington midfielder Jack Dempsey, who has opted to play for his home-town club, with striker Joe Galsworthy making the step up from Gloucestershire County League side DRG Stapleton. Former Gloucester City and Mangotsfield United striker Jack Pitcher will continue to spearhead the attack after his goals helped Winterbourne surge up the table in the second half of last season, but midfielder Liam Barrett has joined Western League Premier Division side Brislington, while Ricky Boulton has moved to Hallen.
