Richie Woodburn is no longer manager of Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier Division club Cowes Sports.

Woodburn’s departure follows Cowes’ recent 6-0 defeat to Portland United.

In a statement, the club said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Richie and his family for all the hard work and commitment they have given to the club throughout his time at Westwood.

“We wish him good luck for the future.”

Woodburn’s assistant, Ian Potts, is in caretaker charge at Sports until the end of the season.
