Lynn’s attacking left-back was offered a full-time deal by the Blue Square Bet North outfit, who are managed by Brian Page.
But unlike Sam Gaughran and Lews Webb, who both left after agreeing terms, Yong has shown his loyalty to Lynn by deciding to remain at The Walks.
Linnets boss Setchell said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Jordan is staying and the thing that swung it in our favour is that he enjoyed his football at the club so much last season.
“He was offered a full-time deal and more money, but it’s nice to know that there is still some loyalty in football after doing a handshake.”
Yong made forty-five appearances for Lynn last season, scoring two goals in all competitions.
