Young Duo Commit to Aber
James McCarten

...f...or the forthcoming Principality Welsh Premier season.

McCarten, who arrived at Park Avenue in August 2010, made twenty-nine appearances for the Black & Greens last season, and scored three goals, most notably the long-range strike that sealed Aber's place in the semi-final of the Europa League play-off against Neath.

The young defender who was an Everton youth regular proved to be a popular player with the supporters, as he firmly established himself at the heart of the Seasiders defence, and will hopefully carry that form into the forthcoming campaign.

Another youngster who is also extending his stay at the Seaside is highly-rated midfielder Anthony Finselbach.

The midfielder performed admirably towards the second half of last season, as he managed to break his way into Alan Morgan's plans. The 20-year-old made fifteen appearances, and got himself on the score sheet twice, as well as picking up the man of the match award in the against Haverfordwest County.

The central midfielder, who has played for the Welsh under-17 side, was released by Swansea City last term and joined the Seasiders in August 2010.
