Blue Square Bet North club Gainsborough Trinity, having already signed goalkeeper Jason White earlier today, have now….

….taken striker Matt Godden on loan for a month from npower League One side Scunthorpe United ahead of tomorrow`s important game against Nuneaton Town.

It is hoped the move will provide Godden, who has been out of action since August with a hip injury, the chance to get some vital match fitness under his belt.

The 20-year-old has made seven substitute appearances for the Iron in all competitions and has already been out on loan before with Ilkeston Town and Brigg Town.
