A George Landais brace helped Bostik South side Lewes to an impressive 3-1 victory over Bostik Premier outfit Burgess Hill Town in their final pre-season friendly at the Dripping Pan.
Leatherhead beat groundsharing Kingstonian 5-1 in an impressive display.
However, 3 minutes into the game, this result never seemed probable as the K’s took the lead through Jack Palmer.
The equaliser ventually arrived in the 40th minute when Yannis Ambroisine was gifted a free header 5 yards out.
Leatherhead started the second half as they ended the first and took the lead in the 47th minute as Calum Davies continued his great form in pre-season to find the top corner.
Leatherhead made it 3-1 soon after through Chike Kandi this time with a wonderful half volley.
Kandi then made it 4-1 in the 60th minute and The Tanners had time for one more as they completed their impressive display with Tre Mitford wrapping up the performance with a fine header into the top corner with 10 minutes left to play.
The Tanners` league rivals Dulwich Hamlet completed their pre-season preparations with a comprehensive 5-1 victory against Bostik South side Carshalton Athletic during which Dumebi Dumaka took his summer goal tally to 8.
Dumaka bagged a brace along with Nana Boakye-Yiadom, a Gavin Tomlin free-kick and Muhammadu Faal wrapped up the Hamlet scoring – Mickel Miller netting the Robins` consolation.
Another Bostik Premier side, Staines Town, shared a 2-2 draw at Eo-Stik South East hosts Marlow.
Staines` star summer signing, Elliot Buchanan, along with acadamy starlet Elliot Baptiste were the Swans on target.
Kelvin Bossman and Charlie Samuels were Marlow`s scorers, and they also had Josh Francis sent-off after 63 minutes.
Staines` league rivals Hendon`s good pre-season form continued with a 3-0 win at Bostik South VCD Athletic.
Zak Joseph opened the scoring on the half-hour mark before Niko Muir had a penalty saved.
The second half saw Daniel Uchechi and Keagan Cole add to the Greens` tally.
Bostik South side Thamesmead Town caused a minor upset by beating Bostik Premier Folkestone Invicta on penalties to claim the Sid Burvill Trophy.
The game finished 1-1 with Sam Hasler pulling Invicta level, but Mead won it in the shoot-out.
Bostik North side Canvey Island rounded off their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 defeat against Bostik South outfit Greenwich Borough at The Frost Financial Stadium.
