With several sides involved in the Cornwall Senior Cup on Saturday, there were just five Premier Division games in the South West Peninsula League but that did not stop the lead at the top of the table changing hands.
Tavistock climbed to the summit and three points clear after they had a 5-0 win at home to lowly St Blazey.
The only other fixture to affect the top of the table was at Southern Road where Exmouth Town saw a nine-match unbeaten run that stretched back to October ended as St Austell came from behind to win 2-1 with the Lilywhites moving onto sixty points for the season.
Elsewhere, ninth-placed Godolphin Atlantic had a 2-0 home win over Callington Town and Cullompton Rangers climbed a place to tenth after a 4-1 win from the long trip to Helston Athletic.
One match ended all-square as Launceston and Camelford played out a goalless draw at Pennygillam.
