Lee Goodwin, Grant Gordon and Paul Joynes, the management team at Blue Square Bet South strugglers Thurrock, who…
…have been handed team affairs until the end of this current season, have brought in an experienced hand in Warren Goodhind to assist both on and off the field.
Sweeper Goodhind, 34, joins from Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side Hemel Hempstead Town where he was player-coach.
He joined the Tudors after several seasons at Conference South outfit Eastleigh.
Born in Johannesburg, Goodhind began his career with Barnet. He also played in the Football League for Cambridge United, Rochdale and Oxford United, before playing non-League football with a number of clubs including Ebbsfleet United, Harrow Borough and Eastleigh
Goodhind left Eastleigh to start a coaching career in Spain at the end of November 2009.
Just a few months later though he pulled the plug on his new life and in February 2010 Eastleigh welcomed the popular defender back to the club for the third time.
