Ian Chapman, manager of Bostik League Premier club Burgess Hill Town, has completed the signing of midfielder Hakeem Adelakun.

The 25-year-old midfielder was with Three Bridges, who were relegated from the Bostik South at the end of last season, after leaving Vanarama National League South outfit Whitehawk.

In December 2016, Adelakun joined new Hillians` league rivals Margate on dual registration to return to the National League South.

Adelakun started his career with Crystal Palace and went on to have spells with Dover Athletic, Lewes, Havant & Waterlooville, Hanwell Town and Carshalton Athletic before joining The Hawks in August 2013.

Chapman told the club`s official website: “‘Hak has played and impressed in our pre-season games. He complements the other midfielders we have, and his power and strength is what is required at this level. We have added seven new faces to last season’s squad and they are all settling in nicely”.
