Defender Wes Atkinson has extended his loan with Vanarama National League North club Alfreton Town from Sky Bet League Two side Notts County until Saturday, 6th May.

Twenty-two-year-old former West Bromwich Albion player has found it hard to nail down a first-team place with County and before joining Alfreton at the start of March, had a spell out on loan at National league outfit Gateshead earlier in the season.

Atkinson has played six matches for the Reds, scoring once in the 2-1 win over FC United of Manchester.

The deal includes a recall clause.
