Alex Harris has re-joined Evo-Stik League South Premier club Hereford FC following his departure from Vanarama National League South side Gloucester City earlier this week.
The goalkeeper, who made over thirty first-team appearances for Hereford last term, had initially agreed a deal with Bulls boss Peter Beadle to stay at Edgar Street this season, but opted to make the step up to the National South after being given permission to talk to Gloucester by the Bulls in May.
Having seen his chances limited for the Tigers this season, Harris mutually agreed to leave Gloucester at the start of the week.
Speaking to the official Hereford FC website, Beadle said “we’re delighted to welcome Alex back to Edgar Street.
“He is obviously someone we know all about, having been an instrumental part of last season’s title winning squad. Alex will provide some tough competition for both Martin Horsell and Max Harris.
Harris trained with the Bulls on Thursday evening, but will play for Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Lydney Town on a dual registration basis this weekend.
