Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division club Longlevens have signed Mason Lewis on dual registration with Evo-Stik League South West side Cirencester Town.

Lewis arrives at Saw Mills with a good level of experience, seeking game-time as he bids to break into the Centurions fold.

His previous clubs include Gloucester City, Slimbridge and fellow Hellenic League rivals Lydney Town where he played against Longlevens numerous times during the clubs rise through Division One into the Premier Division

Longlevens manager Mark Moore said: “We know about Mason as we’ve played against him in previous seasons, (when he was playing for Lydney Town) so we’re excited to have him involved with us, this also gives us more depth to the squad.”

Lewis is a left-footed defender who can also play as a wide midfielder and will be in contention when Longlevens take on Oxford City Nomads at Saw Mills on Saturday.
