Shildon have snapped up striker Martyn Coleman from Ebac Northern League First Division rivals Penrith.

The 29-year-old has been back and forth from Penrith on several occasions.

He left for Celtic Nation in December 2013 and then returned following a spell with Workington AFC, whom he signed for in the summer of 2014.

He then made the move from Penrith to ambitious South Shields in February 2016, but was back in Cumbria the following summer after playing a part in helping Shields win the Second Division.

Big and strong in the tackle, with an eye for goal, he has a good footballing brain.
