Evo-Stik League North club Colne have confirmed the signing of forward Harry Pratt from Vanarama National League North side Chorley.
Colne have fought off competition from a number of clubs in the National League and Evo-Stik Premier for the signature of the 20-year-old, who has been in outstanding form for Chorley`s development side this season.
Pratt, a product of the Rochdale academy, trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Tuesday evening, after putting pen-to-paper on an eighteen-month-deal.
Director of football Danny Bolton told the club`s official Pitchero website: “Harry had been identified by manager Steve Cunningham and the chairman prior to me joining the club. However, he quickly joined Mossley AFC and we have followed his development closely. Harry is a big strong lad, with footballing skills beyond his years and definitely knows where the back of the net is. We are delighted Harry has committed to the football club and look forward to seeing him in a red shirt.”
Pratt should go straight into the squad for this weekend`s game against Ramsbottom United at the Utility Renewals Stadium.
