Bostik League North club Aveley have announced the signing of defender Jack Isherwood from Essex Senior League side Stansted.

Isherwood started his career at Stevenage Borough and featured for Bishop`s Stortford before making the move to Stansted in the Essex Senior League.

He played at right-back for the Airportmen and did very well there, scoring one goal in five appearances in his first season in 2015/16 and then became a regular in the 2016/17 campaign and now joins the Millers after a very impressive pre-season.

Millers boss Terry Spillane was happy with this signing after beating other clubs to Isherwood’s signature: “He’s a good prospect. A few clubs were in for him as well. He’s a defender, who played at right-back for Stansted, and has done really well for us in pre-season”.
