Wisbech Town made two big signings ahead of their early ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division start on Sunday.
The Fenmen signed Jordan Yong, who played for Evo-Stik League South Premier side King`s Lynn Town for the seven seasons, and Harry Baldry, who has been a youth player at Peterborough United for the last four seasons, and both played in Sunday tea-time`s 2-1 win over Wellingborough Town in front of a crowd of 433 as part of the league`s `ground-hop` weekend.
Full-back Yong, a one-time Norwich City youth player, played almost 300 games for the Linnets over six seasons, enjoying league honours and cup success along the way.
He joined Lynn after a spell with New Zealand outfit Wellington Phoenix, where he spent eighteen months after being released by Norwich.
The 27-year-old signed for the Fenmen as he`s due to leave England in December to play in the Malaysian League with Melaka United.
