Former Burnley Defender Joins Jammers

Kevin Horlock, manager of Bostik League North club Maldon & Tiptree has added former Burnley defender Taofiq Olomowewe to his squad at Park Drive.

Olomowewe joined the Clarets in the summer of 2016, signing a one-year contract.

He signed for Burnley after playing for the Nike Academy.

Aged 20, Olomowewe is a 6`3” towering and powerful central defender with real potential.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Maldon & Tiptree. I am looking forward to getting started and playing alongside the boys. I have some personal targets that I would love to achieve, but my main focus is to achieve promotion for the club and the fans; whilst giving the supporters something to cheer about… I am excited for Saturday.”
