Four More New Moatsiders

Bostik Premier club Merstham have announced the signings of central defenders Jake Hutchings, Sinn’Kaye Christie and midfielders Sean Bonnett-Johnson and Stephan Hamilton-Forbes.

Hutchings signs from league rivals Leiston, Christie from Leatherhead`s under-21s, Bonnett-Johnson from Kingstonian and Hamilton-Forbes from Chesham United.

Jake Hutchings

Hutchings joined Leiston in early October 2016 after impressing against them for Grays Athletic.

Comfortable in possession, he is a former youth with Heart of Midlothian and Torquay United and has also appeared for Enfield Town, Frome Town and Grays.

Christie is a highly-promising young defender who joined the Tanners after spending time in the Nike Academy.

Sinn’Kaye Christie

Bonnett-Johnson is a well-travelled midfielder who has been with the likes of Kingstonian, Wealdstone, Broxbourne Borough, Kettering Town, St Albans City, Aveley, Waltham Forest, Hemel Hempstead Town, Potters Bar Town and Billericay Town as well as a couple of stints with K`s.

Hamilton-Forbes is another midfielder who joins from Evo-Stik League South Premier side Chesham United.

Previously at Watford, he had loan spells with Harrow Borough and Havant & Waterlooville whilst at Vicarage Road.

The Moatsiders also announced that striker Charlie Penny is expected to return to light training during pre-season and Tutu Henriques has signed a new deal.
