Evo-Stik League Premier club Stalybridge Celtic have signed winger Connor Hughes.
The talented ex-Hyde United, FC Halifax Town and Oldham Athletic player will provide further competition for places in the Celtic midfield.
The 24-year-old made his debut against Mickleover Sports on Saturday.
Celtic manager Steve Burr said: “I am delighted to have acquired Connor’s services. He is a player who I have been monitoring for a long time at other clubs I have been at and he will no doubt contribute to the team’s fantastic efforts of late.
“We have been searching for a left-sided player and Conner fits the bill perfectly. He’s a local lad and delighted to bring him into the club. I am looking forward to seeing him in action”.
