There has been another signing announced by recently-appointed AFC Sudbury manager Mark Morsley when he informed the Bostik League North club that he had agreed terms for striker Joe Maybanks to return to the King’s Marsh Stadium.

Maybanks left Braintree Town at the end of last season after they suffered relegation to the Vanarama National League South, having spent three seasons with the Cressing Road outfit.

During the 2015/16 season, he spent time on loan with Sudbury, making twenty-five appearances and scoring 7 goals.

He made a number of first-team appearances for Braintree while they were in the National League.

Earlier this season he played for Evo-Stik League South Premier outfit Bishop’s Stortford.

He will be available for selection when AFC play Romford at home tomorrow.
