Shildon manager Daniel Moore has made his first signing of the summer by bringing Anthony Peacock to the Ebac Northern League First Division club.

The former Middlesbrough academy player has previously played for Darlington, Spennymoor Town and, last season, Billingham Synthonia.

Moore said: “Since taking over as manager I have been looking to bring Anthony to the club. I have played with him in the past and he is without doubt one of the best footballers I have played with.

“Along with his undoubted quality, Anthony’s attitude and desire to win trophies will be a massive boost to an already hungry squad and I am delighted to welcome him to the club”.
