There has been something of a re-shuffle of the squad at Hallmark Security League Premier Division club Runcorn Linnets.
First to join this month was Sam Fitton.
Fitton is a midfield player who has joined Linnets from league rivals Padiham.
Fitton made three appearances for Padiham this season and had previously been on the books of Macclesfield Town and Hyde United.
Next through the Linnets door was the experienced Adam Morning from Evo-Stik League North side Colne.
A 30-year-old attacking midfield player or striker, Morning was a graduate of the Manchester City youth team.
He later joined Oldham Athletic before moving into non-League football.
He has since has gained extensive experience at clubs on both sides of the Pennines, including Bradford Park Avenue, FC Halifax Town, Salford City, Ashton United and Witton Albion.
He has also had a stint playing in Australia.
Another stellar signing is Rory Fallon from Vanarama National League North side Curzon Ashton.
An attacking midfield player, the 26-year-old had seen a very promising career cut short by a serious knee injury while playing for FC United of Manchester.
After a ten-month lay-off from December 2015, the player was forced to call time on his successful stay at FC United as he prepared for a second operation.
In announcing the decision in October 2016, FC United described Fallon as “one of the most talented footballers the club has ever had”.
Fallon’s long rehabilitation saw a return to the game with Curzon who he joined in July 2017.
These new arrivals were required as manager Michael Ellison had seen midfielder Gary Grier leave for Atherton LR, defender Danny McKenna move to Evo-Stik League Premier side Witton Albion and Chris Lawton and Matt Holmes complete moves to Northwich Victoria.
