Tadcaster Albion have announced the signing of experienced full-back Laurence Hunter from Evo-Stik League North rivals Colne.
The 30-year-old has already played against the Brewers on two occasions this season for Colne; winning one and losing one, and scored straight from a corner kick in the most recent meeting.
He has also featured for Garforth Town, Bamber Bridge and Hyde United.
“I’m really happy to have signed for Taddy,” said the former Harrogate Railway man. “Mikey Morton really impressed me when he spoke to me and after that conversation I knew I wanted to sign.
“There’s a lot of quality in the squad and everyone is looking to take the club forward and I want to be a part of it.
“I also want to say thank you to Colne boss Steve Cunningham, he was great with me in the short spell that I was there and was very understanding in my reasons to leave.
“I’m very grateful for the opportunity and I’m really looking forward to getting started”.
