Vanarama National League North club Alfreton Town have confirmed that they have signed Oli Cox on dual registration from Central Midlands League Black Dragon Division South outfit Swanwick Pentrich Road.

Twenty-year-old Cox plays at centre-back and has signed for the Reds on non-contract terms.

Cox`s deal runs until the end of the season with the Reds eligible to select the defender on match days.

Cox signed a National League form which allows the defender to play for Alfreton when the Reds require the player – he can also continue to play for Swanwick.

Cox is available for selection for Saturday’s home fixture with Darlington 1883.
