FA Cup Hero Deacon On The Move From Sutton

Roarie Deacon has joined Dundee after a successful season with Sutton United. 

The 25 year old scored seven goals in 42 appearences for the side and helped them stay in the Vanarama National League.

The attacking midfielder played a big role in their FA Cup exploits. His goal and assist saw the side beat AFC Wimbledon and they eventually knocked out by Arsenal in the fifth round.

The England under 19 international was at Arsenal and Sunderland during his youth career but failed to make a first team appearance for either side.

He would go onto play for Stevenage and Crawley Town and had a trial at Cambridge United before moving to Paul Doswell’s side at the start of last season.

After impressing, he was linked with several moves and has decided his future lies in the SPFL.
