Guiseley have confirmed that Elliot Green has agreed to stay with the club for the upcoming season.
The defender/midfielder joined Guiseley in December and made his debut in the FA Trophy victory away at Chorley.
Green who is 23 years old has played most of his career as a centre-back but can play in central midfield as well.
He started his footballing career at his home town club Lincoln City and signed his first professional contract in 2012.
During his time there he has several loans spells playing for Lincoln United, Granthan Town, Stamford, Sheffield FC and Eastwood Town before moving to Sweden.
He would then move to Sweden and played for Ange IF FC and a couple of other clubs before a move to Canada in February 2016 after signing for Vancouver Whitecaps.
Green returned to England and signed for Guiseley where he made only ten appearences but that was due to picking up an injury that ended his season early.
