Neil Reynolds, manager of Evo-Stik League North club Bamber Bridge, has continued to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2017/18.

Reynolds has brought in defender Denzel Williams on loan from Sky Bet League One side Blackpool.

The 18-year-old made his debut for Brig in Saturday’s friendly against Chorley.

Williams came through Blackpool’s academy and signed a professional contract with the club in April of this year.

At Brig he will be re-united with former Blackpool academy team-mate Macauley Wilson, who has signed a one-year contract with the Irongate outfit.

The 19-year-old defender, who has also had a spell with Vanarama National League side AFC Fylde, is no stranger to the Brig faithful having previously been at the club on loan early in the 2016/17 season.
