It has been another busy end to the week for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Rushall Olympic with…..
….more comings and goings on the pitch.
Joining the Pics are midfielder Lee Hildreth and goalkeeper Richard Jones, while going in the opposite direction is on-loan goalkeeper Liam Roberts.
Hildreth has seen service with Coventry City, Tamworth, Corby Town and Brackley Town and he joins the Pics from Tamworth where he enjoyed a good campaign, despite the Lambs being relegated.
He joined the Sky Blues as an eight-year-old and went on to captain City`s under-18s. He also scored the winning goal in extra-time for Coventry City reserves in the Birmingham Senior Cup against Nuneaton Borough and they went on to lift the trophy in May.
He followed that success by making his first-team debut as a late substitute on the final day of the 2006/07 season against Burnley.
At the end of the season he signed his first professional contract with a one-year deal. However, he did not make another appearance for Coventry and at the end of the 2007/08 season the then Sky Blues manager Chris Coleman announced Hildreth would be one of eight players whose contracts would not be renewed, and was subsequently released.
Jones` previous clubs include neighbours Walsall, while Liam Roberts has been recalled from his loan spell by Walsall and has now linked up with Rainworth Miners Welfare.
Also midfielder Jake Heath, whose loan period has been interrupted by injury, is named in the squad tomorrow but following the game his loan spell comes to an end.
