Dave Griffiths resigned as manager of Toolstation Western League Premier Division club Barnstaple Town after….

….Saturday’s 7-0 defeat at Bishop Sutton.

The result extended Town’s winless league run to ten matches.

Griffiths, who took over as manager in July, had to cope with a negligible budget.

Barnstaple’s new chairman Warren Crossley said: “Our thanks to Dave for carrying out the role as manager in such testing circumstances, and we wish him all the very best.”
