Boost For Hawks As Keeper Commits

Ryman League Premier Division club Harlow Town received a boost with the news that goalkeeper David Hughes had signed a new contract for the 2017/18 season.

Hughes signed for Harlow in November 2015, and his impressive performances assisted in steering the club to Ryman Division One North play-off success in 2016.

The fans` favourite has made eighty appearances for the Hawks, keeping twenty-four clean sheets in the process.

His four clean sheets in the last six games helped keep up hopes of a play-off place this term before a disappointing Easter has left them short.

But the news that he has committed himself to the club for next year will give the team a massive boost ahead of next season.
