Stevenage appointed former Wimbledon and Chelsea legend Dave Beasant as their new goalkeeping coach last week.
Earlier this month Boro boss Graham Westley signed Beasant`s son Sam, also a keeper, from Conference Premier club Woking, for whom he made thirty-six appearances last season.
Since starting his career at Chelsea, 26-year old Sam has enjoyed spells at Amersham Town, Wycombe and the Glenn Hoddle Academy, amongst other clubs.
Now the new Boro coach has been re-united with another of his sons, James, 25, who was on the books at Southern League Premier Division Chesham United last season.
The former Watford junior spent last season as back up to Shane Gore at Meadow Park, and made only three first-team appearances.
Last season was his second spell as back-up keeper with Andy Leese’s men, having also made four appearances between 2007 and 2009 after joining straight from Watford.
He signed up again with Chesham at the start of last season, having had spells in between with Hayes & Yeading United and the Glenn Hoddle Soccer Academy where he was with brother Sam.
