Vanarama Conference North club Brackley Town have signed former Wales under-21 international forward Jonathan Brown.

Brown started his career with Cardiff City, for whom he made a couple of first-team appearances as well as having a period on loan with Wrexham in 2008/09.

After his release by Cardiff he had a short spell with Welsh League side Bryntirion Athletic before spending a year in Australia with Central Coast Mariners.

Upon his return to Britain he joined Bath City in January 2011 and then Southport the following summer.

A move to AFC Telford United followed, where he had spent a successful loan spell from January 2012 to the end of that season, but played only nineteen times before moving to Thailand to play for Rayong United.

In the summer of 2013 Brown signed a short-term deal with Hereford United.

But in January he extended his contract at Hereford until the end of the season

The Bulls` midfielder was originally handed a three-month contract, but then boss Martin Foyle decided that he had done enough to earn a contract until the end of the season.
