North West Counties League Premier Division club Alsager Town have announced the signing of well-known local playmaker Danny Griggs.

The former Northwich Victoria, Nantwich Town and Kidsgrove Athletic schemer will add huge quality to The Bullets attacking unit and, having played a prominent role in the Dabbers` FA Vase and promotion-winning teams, is a proven winner.

Griggs is excited by the progress being made on and off the pitch at Alsager and is looking forward to adding his considerable experience and match-winning ability to a talented young squad.
