Kevin Wilson has been relieved of his duties at as manager of Vanarama National League North club Nuneaton Town with immediate effect.
Wilson was appointed manager in May 2015, leaving his role at Ilkeston FC.
He became Boro’s fifth manager in just over a year following the departure of Kevin Wilkin to Wrexham in March 2014.
Despite some early season promise, Boro failed to make the play-offs in Wilson’s first campaign by a single point – with a three-point deduction not helping their cause.
A raft of player departures in the summer has seen Boro struggle in the first half of the season, winning just three of their eighteen games to lie just three points and a place above the relegation zone.
Former Corby Town player-manager Tommy Wright, who joined the club recently as a player-coach, has been appointed first-team manager with Steve Chettle staying on as first-team coach.
The pair are taking training with the players this morning ahead of the trip to FC United of Manchester tomorrow.
