Cornick Back from Cherries Trial

Hot prospect Harry Cornick is poised to swap Dean Court for Hurn Bridge when he returns to action with Christchurch….

….against Bemerton Heath Harlequins in the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier Division tonight.

It will be quite a contrast for teenage winger Cornick, who spent last week training with npower League One neighbours AFC Bournemouth.

The Poole Grammar School pupil caught the eye while with Cherries and scored for the club in a reserve team friendly against Bristol Rovers.

Cornick was given an opportunity to showcase his skills by Cherries boss Eddie Howe after he had been linked with a series of clubs including Premier League outfits Stoke City, Southampton and Reading.

But he will be back on familiar territory when high-flying Priory bid to boost their title hopes against Bemerton at Hurn Bridge.
