Skrill South club Dover Athletic have taken striker Brian Woodall on loan from Sky Bet League Two side….
….Dagenham & Redbridge until January 1st 2014.
Woodall took the Football League by storm in his debut campaign and ended as the Daggers top scorer, having joined the club from Gresley FC in the summer of 2011.
But last season didn’t see him push on with a stop-start season which included a loan spell at then Conference North side Bishops Stortford.
Woodall actually began his career with German club SC Herford in the Landesliga Westfalen Ost before returning to England and playing for Hinckley Town.
He scored two goals in eighteen appearances before moving to Gresley Rovers in February 2008, making his debut against Warrington Town.
Midway through the 2008/09 season he moved to Atherstone Town but returned to Gresley a few months later.
At the start of the following season he remained at The Moat to play for Gresley FC – formed after the demise of Gresley Rovers.
He finished the 2009/10 season as top scorer with thirty goals and in 2010/11 was named player of the year as they won promotion to the Midland Alliance.
In his two years playing for Gresley, Woodall scored fifty-one goals in eighty-eight appearances before joining the Daggers, for whom he has only made senior one appearance this season.
