Tom Baker, the recently-appointed manager of Trafford, relegated from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division, has named Chris Denham as his assistant.
Thirty-two-year-old Denham has previously played for Altrincham, Stalybridge Celtic, Radcliffe Borough, Droylsden and Ashton United.
Baker said “Deciding on my number two was a more difficult decision than anticipated. Chris is someone I have known for several years now and a friend outside of football. His energy, enthusiasm and drive mirrored my own which led to my decision.
“Like me he is young and hungry to succeed and to be as successful as he was in his playing career. He’s been a top player over the years and I have no doubt he will be no different as a number two. He’s someone I trust and I know that will fit right in at the football club.”
