England `C` manager Paul Fairclough has named an eighteen-man squad for the forthcoming International Challenge Trophy….
….Group A match with Slovakia in Poprad.
The Three Lions travel to Slovakia for the tie on Saturday, 24th May, before moving across the border for a friendly with Hungary at the Szusza Ferenc Stadium in Budapest four days later.
And Fairclough is keen to get his ICT campaign off to a good start against the Slovakian under-23 side, but is well aware that it will not be an easy task following their recent 4-4 draw away to current champions Turkey.
There are four new faces in the squad, who will all be hoping to get their first taste of international football in the shape of Barnet defender Andy Yiadom, FC Halifax Town’s Marc Roberts and Gateshead pair Marcus Maddison and James Marwood.
