Baris Northern Counties East League Division One club Eccleshill United have unveiled Bobby Davison as their new head coach.

The former, Derby County, Leicester City and Leeds United striker takes over at the helm of the Eagles after Ian Banks stepped down in September.

Previously assistant-manager of Bradford City and manager at Guiseley and Hungarian giants Ferencvaros, Davison has more recently been a youth team coach at Leeds.

The Rapid Solicitors Stadium side currently find themselves in the sixteenth spot in the table and Davison’s first game in charge will be the league trip to next-to-bottom Appleby Frodingham tomorrow.
