Experienced Striker Joins Sutton United

Vanarama Conference South club Sutton United have signed striker Jo Kuffour.

After starting his career with Arsenal, Kuffour went on to have spells with Torquay United, where he made 148 appearances, Brentford, for whom he appeared thirty-nine times, AFC Bournemouth, where he made forty-four starts, and Bristol Rovers, with whom he played 130 times and scored 32 goals.

The experienced 32-year-old Ghanaian signed for Wycombe in September 2012 on an initial two-year contract after leaving Gillingham at the end of the 2011/12 season, having made thirty appearancs in total.

Kuffour was released by the Chairboys in the summer, having played fifty-six times.
