Southern League Premier Division club Frome Town have announced the signing of Jack Twyford from new league rivals Dorchester Town.
Midfielder Twford came up through the youth ranks at Dorchester and made 25 appearances for the Magpies in the Conference South last season.
He joined up with his new team-mates during training last week before putting pen-to-paper ahead of the friendly at Street on Saturday.
Striker Ollie Taylor also joins the Robins on a short-term deal from Vanarama Conference Premier side Woking and almost added a second but headed wide but
Frome have also completed the signing of striker Mark Francis, who was released from Swindon Town in the summer and had spent a loan spell with Frome last season where he impressed in his short spell before injury curtailed his season.
Following an operation he is now back fully fit and is looking forward to the new season ahead.
Manager Adrian Foster also confirmed that Rhys Baggridge has signed for the Robins once again.
The central defender was one of the key performers for a resurgent Frome under Foster and after a summer operation to cure an ongoing groin injury he has been undergoing training in Spain while working.
He is set for a return to the country soon and will once again link up with the Robins squad.
Meanwhile, defender Ryan Elliott has left the club due to work commitments, although the door has been left open for him to return at any point.
