Franks Loaned to Hayes & Yeading

AFC Wimbledon defender Fraser Franks has joined Blue Square Bet Premier club Hayes & Yeading on a month`s loan.

The 20-year-old is building up his fitness after six months on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Franks joined the Dons in August 2010 and made twenty-four appearances last season.

The central defender was given his first professional contract with Brentford in the summer of 2009.

He was a product of the Bees’ youth system and progressed through the reserves to earn an occasional place on the first-team bench.

Franks has also spent time out on loan was to Conference South side Basingstoke Town in 2009/10 to gain further experience
