Grays Sign Four More

Four more new players have put pen-to-paper for Ryman League Division One North club Grays Athletic the upcoming 2011/12 season.

Goalkeeper Ali Aksoy and midfielder Dave Cowley have signed, whilst striker Louis Dennis joins on a season-long loan from npower League Two outfit Dagenham & Redbridge.

Aksoy was last with AFC Wimbledon, making his way up through the youth system. The 18-year-old Turkish ‘keeper was previously with Arsenal and Queens Park Rangers as a youth.

Winger Cowley spent last season with league rivals Harlow Town. He spent time with West Ham United and Southend United as a youth player before linking up with the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain.

Cowley had been on trial with Grays previously at the start of last season.

Dennis has signed on a season-long loan from the Daggers, where he was a product of their youth setup.

Also signing for Grays is Jay Nash, a striker who played for Daggers’ reserves and youth teams.
