Fans` favourite and veteran striker Leroy Griffiths has left Ryman League Premier Division club Grays Athletic – again.
The Blues agreed to let the 37-year-old former Queens Park Rangers front man go and thanked him for his services over three spells with the club.
Giffiths kicked-off his career in the youth ranks at Sutton United and played for a host of non-League clubs after a two-year spell at QPR between 2001 and 2003.
After loan spells at Farnborough Town and Margate, he joined Grays for the first time in 2005, scoring 28 times in sixty-three appearances.
He returned on loan two years later to score two more goals and had added three more since rejoining the club this year.
He returned after turning out for the likes of Fisher Athletic, Aldershot Town, Havant & Waterlooville, Corinthian-Casuals, Lewes, Eastleigh, Staines Town, Sutton United, Thurrock, Harrow Borough, Leatherhead and Hereford United.
A Blues spokesman said: “The club would like to wish Leroy all the very best and thank him for his time at the club.”
