Vanarama Conference South club Farnborough have signed former England under-19 international defender Jamie Hand.
Hand started his career as a trainee at Watford where he was loaned out to Oxford United, Livingston and Peterborough United before playing for a number of clubs, including Chester City, Lincoln City, Ebbsfleet United, Hayes & Yeading United.
He joined Mansfield Town at the start of the 2012/13 season but made just one appearance for the Stags and had loan spells at former club Hayes & Yeading as well as Margate before being released at the end of that season.
In the summer of 2013 he joined Stockport County but after being restricted to just five appearances in three months, he was loaned to Southport in November on a deal which lasted to January 11th 2014.
He was released by Stockport in May 2014 and then more recenely trialled with Farnborough`s league rivals Wealdstone.
