Hannant Agrees New Gateshead Deal

Gateshead midfielder Luke Hannant has signed a new contract at the Vanarama National League club, keeping him at the International Stadium until the end of next season.

Since joining from Ebac Northern League Second Division side Team Northumbria in the summer, Hannant has gone on to appear fourteen times for The Heed, scoring in the 4-1 victory over Barrow AFC on New Year`s Eve.

The Norwich-born 23-year-old has impressed manager Neil Aspin, who believes Hannant has the talent and application to make further progress at Gateshead.
